Chengdu-Kunming Railway

Description

CR21G has participated in design and construction for the 1,100 Km long mountain trunk railway line.
The construction commenced in August, 1964, and was completed in June, 1970 after 70 months.
It is one of the most geologically challenging projects with gorges; complex and precipitous topography vary from 300 m to 2,300 m above the sea level.
The alignment was selected from about 300 scenarios with 11,000 Km proposed line.
The geologic movement is still actively, more than 500 Km lines lies on 7-9 degree of intensity scale earthquake zone.
