Beijing-Tianjin Intercity High Speed Rail

It is the first passenger transit with the
velocity of 350km/h in China, completed
in two and a half years by CREC, achieving the most rapid construction speed both at home and abroad.
Advanced international railway construction
technologies were widely used for this project, initiating a series of Number 1 records in China railway history by CREC.
Compared with the 36km high-speed railway
construction of Germany, more high crossing
structures are adopted for this project, which
caused a lot of bridge construction difficulties.
In order to solve them, meet the design and
construction standards and demands of the client and technical instructor,
CREC cooperates with equipment manufacturers, survey companies and
material suppliers to study, develop and invent specialized construction
methodologies, plant and equipment, actualizing the aim that 90% of the
equipment are made in China.
New techniques and equipment developed, applied and manufactured by CREC:
- 113.5km CRTC II slab ballastless track construction methodology
(Merits: saving maintenance cost in the next 60 years, less dust & pollution,
lower noise, higher construction quality)
- Welding construction methodology of 500m long track sites, laying long
continuous welded rail track in major inter-district
- Rail slab transportation and laying facilities
- Fast precise adjusting system of rail slab
- Research and application of CA mortar
- CA mortar truck mixer
